Staff Software Engineer, Commerce

Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to implement registry, Shop, Cart, and Checkout features, while tackling complex technical challenges and improving platform architecture and operational efficiency.

  • Identify system bottlenecks and improve architecture and processes.

Requirements & Benefits

8+ years in full-stack software development. Proficiency in Ruby on Rails and React. Proven experience in system design, monolithic architecture, and scaling e-commerce platforms. Familiarity with AI developer tooling and development practices. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Passion for mentoring and leading teams.

Competitive salary range: $159,360 – $239,040 plus equity and bonus opportunities. Benefits include company-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid leave including PTO and generous parental leave, and a flexible remote-first work environment, with support for home office setups.
