Service Excellence HVAC/R Lead Technician

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Budderfly. We are seeking an experienced lead technician to ensure efficient, reliable, and high-performing HVAC/R systems in commercial environments in Miami, FL.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair HVAC/R systems to ensure consistent operation.
  • Conduct commissioning checks, mechanical inspections, and controller configurations.
  • Identify and mitigate maintenance risks and troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Perform preventive maintenance including filter changes, coil cleaning, belt inspections, and system troubleshooting.
  • Respond to emergency service calls during nights, weekends, and on-call periods.
  • Keep accurate logs in the company work order system.
  • Ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations and OSHA standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of HVAC/R service technician experience.
  • EPA Certification (required).
  • Familiarity with HVAC controls, with knowledge of Lennox Core and Carrier SystemVu controllers preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility for emergency calls and willingness to travel within Miami and surrounding areas.
  • Team-oriented and committed to continuous learning.
