QA Automation Engineer

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of ADDENDUM. We are currently looking for a QA Automation Engineer in India. In this role, you will join enterprise technology teams working on business-critical ERP, API, and web systems. You will play a key role in building scalable automation frameworks, ensuring quality, and supporting reliable delivery in a fast-paced, global environment. Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product teams to design and implement automated testing strategies that drive efficiency and accuracy.

This is a remote role that requires overlap with U.S. business hours.

Accountabilities

  • Design and maintain automation frameworks for UI, API, and performance testing.
  • Build and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, Postman, or ReadyAPI.
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
  • Manage test data, analyze results, and identify root causes of defects.
  • Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product owners for end-to-end quality.
  • Track QA metrics using JIRA, TestRail, and Git.
  • Support load and performance testing using JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in QA automation for enterprise systems.
  • Strong programming/scripting skills in Python, Java, Groovy, .NET, or Bash.
  • Proven experience with automated UI and API testing.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD, version control, Agile, and Scrum practices.
  • Solid SQL skills for test data validation.
  • Excellent English communication skills and ability to collaborate remotely.
  • Availability to work overlapping with U.S. Central Time hours.
