About the Role

The Group Lead, Technical Program Management at Jobber will drive clarity and alignment between company strategy, technical execution, and measurable outcomes for the Systems group. You will coach and develop TPMs to own their metrics, build quality roadmaps, and deliver meaningful impact while ensuring cross-team dependencies and long-term technical strategy alignment.

Team Overview

The Systems group manages core technology pieces including Production Engineering (AWS cloud infrastructure), Backend Foundations, Comms Systems, and more. Collaboration with Product teams ensures changes serve customer interests while meeting key pillars of performance, quality, uptime, and rapid delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee team metrics and set clear goals.
  • Prioritize initiatives that connect daily work to long-term strategy.
  • Build relationships across departments to unblock teams.
  • Mentor and hold TPMs accountable for delivering high-quality roadmaps.
  • Support large-scale initiatives with company-wide impact.

Qualifications

Proven leadership in managing TPM teams in a dynamic, high-growth environment and hands-on TPM experience are essential. A strong technical background, experience in SaaS, clear communication skills, a data-driven mindset, and collaborative spirit are required. Experience with AWS, Developer Acceleration, core stack development (Ruby/Rails ideal), or data and streaming technologies is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range is transparent with a minimum of 145,900, midpoint of 171,600, and maximum of 197,400. In addition to base salary, a comprehensive benefits package is offered including equity rewards, health and wellness stipends, retirement matching, extended health with fully paid premiums, and a robust talent development program.
