Job Description
Junior Web Developer
We are looking for a passionate and motivated Junior Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in web technologies and a willingness to learn and grow while building responsive and user-friendly websites in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive websites and web pages
- Convert UI/UX designs into functional web interfaces
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Optimize websites for speed and performance
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility
- Assist in integrating APIs and backend services
- Debug and fix issues in existing websites
- Collaborate with designers and developers
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 0–2 years of experience in web development (or strong academic/project experience)
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
- Basic understanding of frontend frameworks (React.js / Vue.js / Angular)
- Familiarity with responsive design (Bootstrap / Tailwind CSS)
- Basic knowledge of Git version control
- Understanding of REST APIs (basic level)
- Strong problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic backend knowledge (Node.js / PHP / Python)
- Familiarity with WordPress development
- Knowledge of database basics (MySQL / MongoDB)
- Understanding of UI/UX principles
