Job Description
Junior Data Analyst at Job Returns
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Data Analyst to support data collection, analysis, and reporting. The ideal candidate should be passionate about working with data and helping teams make data-driven decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and organize data from various sources
- Perform data analysis to identify trends and insights
- Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations
- Assist senior analysts in business analysis tasks
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency
- Work with teams to understand data requirements
- Prepare reports and present findings
- Maintain proper documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 0–2 years of experience in data analysis or relevant field (or strong academic/project experience)
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel (Formulas, Pivot Tables, Charts)
- Basic understanding of SQL
- Familiarity with Power BI / Tableau (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of statistics and data concepts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field
- Basic knowledge of Python or R
- Understanding of data visualization best practices
