Overview
The Lease Administration Associate at JLL supports a diverse set of client needs ranging from basic management of lease abstractions and critical dates to full financial management of landlord invoices and reconciliation audits.
Responsibilities
- Abstract and interpret commercial lease documents including leases, amendments, and subleases.
- Conduct rent variance analysis and manage rent payment processing.
- Manage client, vendor, and landlord relationships, resolving issues as needed.
- Review annual reconciliation statements and real estate tax calculations for accuracy and lease compliance.
- Handle data entry, validation, lease document management, and tracking of critical dates.
- Review CAM, escalations, real estate tax invoices, and manage subtenant accounts along with billing/collections.
- Participate in special projects as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance with at least two years of relevant experience in lease administration, accounting, or property management. They must demonstrate expertise in complex commercial lease language, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong financial and analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and effective communication skills, both verbal and written. The role requires the ability to work both independently and within a team environment while managing multiple tasks under pressure.
