About the Role
The Warehouse Operations Manager III at Jitsu is responsible for managing a team of hourly leads and associates to perform outbound and sortation processes, while ensuring the facility meets Safety, Quality, and Cost standards under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager.
Primary Responsibilities
- Safety: Design, implement, and train on safety standards with proper PPE.
- Outbound: Manage daily warehouse outbound processes to meet schedule requirements and performance metrics.
- Sortation: Oversee sortation ensuring packages are accurately and efficiently sorted.
- Team Management: Lead, train, and mentor hourly leads and associates, developing work procedures and rosters.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate with other departments.
- Supply Management: Implement inventory controls and supply management to prevent stock-outs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong supervisory, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Google Drive, Slack, and related operations software.
- OSHA Forklift Operator certification is a strong plus.
Physical Requirements & Work Hours
This role requires standing, walking, sitting, and occasional physical exertions up to 60 pounds. May require weekend, night, and holiday hours as needed.
Travel
This position requires 10-15% travel.
