Position Overview: Sales Support Specialist
The Sales Support Specialist provides exceptional customer service to both new and existing customers via phone, email, or in person, with opportunities for growth into Account Management & Sales.
Essential Functions
- Maintains required order documentation and enters account order information.
- Coordinates logistics and communicates with customers, sales, warehouse, and administrative staff.
- Handles customer inquiries and supports the sales team with quote creation.
- Manages weekly operations calls and meeting spreadsheets.
- Processes deposits and additional customer payments in coordination with AR.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proficient in learning products, services, systems, and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills both in writing and verbally.
- Strong negotiation, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
- Mechanically inclined with a desire to expand product knowledge.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel and basic math skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks.
