Volunteer Video Editor at L'Esprit Lycéen
L'Esprit Lycéen is seeking passionate video editors for a volunteer opportunity to transform interviews and field reports into engaging visual experiences for youth. Your work will help inform and entertain young people on topics like climate, education, culture, and politics, contributing to civic awareness and freedom of expression.

As a key member of our editorial team, you will be responsible for the visual storytelling of our content:
- Storytelling: Structure narratives to keep viewers engaged from start to finish.
- Dynamism: Pace sequences, select appropriate music, and add graphic elements for impact.

Collaboration Mode
You will work in pairs with a journalist or editorial lead for each project. They will provide the video plan, raw footage, and guidelines. You will be the final director, with the team available for feedback and validation at each stage.
Mission Location: 100% Freedom
This mission is entirely remote. We use simple collaborative tools like Drive, Slack, or Discord for file sharing and creative feedback.
Time and Rhythm: You're in Control
Enjoy total flexibility with no set hours. Edit when you can (evenings, weekends, or days), as long as you meet agreed-upon deadlines. The frequency can range from one edit per week to one per month, adapting to your schedule.
Equipment
Volunteers must have their own computer and preferred editing software. We provide all graphic elements (logos, brand guidelines, licensed music) to assist you.
Support
Upon joining, you'll receive a briefing on L'Esprit Lycéen's graphic charter to ensure you feel comfortable. As a young team, mutual support is our priority!
