Citoyens is its online media outlet, run entirely by volunteers. Its mission is to decipher current events through the lens of citizenship, making information accessible to everyone. "The news that makes you a citizen." The news journalist is the daily pulse of Citoyens. They follow real-time news and transform it into short, educational, and engaging content for the media's social networks. Their role is not to relay raw information but to explain, contextualize, and make it accessible to all citizens, in the true spirit of popular education.

Missions
Social Media Content Production
- Conduct daily monitoring of political, civic, and institutional news.
- Produce one piece of content per day for Citoyens' social media (Instagram): news analysis, civic fact, question posed to the community, etc.
- Write short, clear, and educational content — avoid jargon, always be accessible.
- Create or adapt associated visuals (using provided Canva templates).
Video Production (if comfortable on camera)
- Record short news analysis formats (1 to 3 minutes) from home.
- Send rushes to the video mission manager for editing.
Editorial Coordination
- Work closely with the Editorial Director to approve angles and topics.
- Adhere to Citoyens' editorial line: educational, non-partisan, republican spirit.
- Proactively suggest topics to cover.
