International Python Coding Educator at JetLearn
Join JetLearn, an innovative European EdTech startup based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on a mission to empower kids to create the future. We provide after-school coding and robotics classes to students aged 6-16 years. We're seeking top-performing educators to teach coding to students in the Netherlands via live, online 1-on-1 classes, offering flexibility to work remotely.
Skills Required
- A Computer Science degree or strong coding background.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- A passion for teaching students.
- A curious mind and engineering background.
- Reliable laptop with camera & microphone and a good internet connection.
- Proficiency in handling Zoom environments.
- Experience with online editors like Repl.IT/Trinklet/Tkinter/Pygame.
- Strong knowledge in:
- Python Basics
- Game Development in Python
- Data Structures & Algorithms
- Data Science
- AI/ML
- OpenCV
Responsibilities
- Teach coding in a fun and engaging way to school students via online classes.
- Introduce young kids to new-age skills.
- Assess student’s progress, evaluate assignments, and provide constructive feedback.
- Conduct regular feedback sessions with parents/guardians.
- This is a part-time role. Most classes are scheduled in the evenings on weekdays and throughout the day on weekends.
- Depending on regional allocation, weekday classes will be between 4pm UKT - 10pm UKT.
- Weekend classes are mandatory, scheduled between 9am UKT - 10pm UKT.
- Weekly off on Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday only.
