Job Description

Company Overview

Jetbro is a technology consulting and systems integration firm dedicated to building reliable, scalable digital systems. We focus on infrastructure, enterprise applications, cloud systems, and modernization initiatives, prioritizing stability, performance, and long-term maintainability.

We are hiring on behalf of Marico Limited, a prominent Indian consumer goods company in the beauty and wellness sector. Marico operates well-known brands across India and internationally, relying on large-scale enterprise systems for manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, and corporate functions. Ensuring infrastructure reliability and operational stability is crucial for their business continuity.

This role directly supports maintaining and strengthening Marico’s enterprise IT infrastructure.

About the Role

As a Senior Windows Administrator L2, you will be responsible for comprehensively managing and maintaining enterprise-grade Windows server environments and infrastructure systems. Your focus will be on ensuring performance stability, managing Active Directory, implementing automation, overseeing backup systems, and efficiently handling incidents.

You will collaborate closely with application teams, various vendors, managed service providers, and internal infrastructure teams to guarantee seamless operations and prompt resolution of critical issues.

This position is ideal for a structured, detail-oriented professional who is comfortable managing escalations and thrives in high-availability enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and troubleshoot Windows Server performance issues, including unexpected reboots, server slowness, server hang, and no-reboot conditions.
  • Handle patch deployment issues and ensure timely updates across the environment.
  • Provide availability outside standard working hours for emergency resolution and critical incidents.
  • Collaborate with application management teams to provide robust infrastructure solutions.
  • Manage Active Directory, including users, groups, schema, replication, and domain troubleshooting.
  • Create, manage, and troubleshoot Group Policies to enforce security and operational standards.
  • Perform Identity and Access Management (IAM) and automation using PowerShell scripting.
  • Troubleshoot DNS functionality issues to maintain network service availability.
  • Manage file systems, including share folder creation, access control, and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor servers proactively using monitoring agents and performance analyzers.
  • Handle incident requests, alerts, change requests, escalations, and P1 issues efficiently.
  • Coordinate with hardware vendors for infrastructure-related issues and support.
  • Manage backup systems and cloud file server environments to ensure data recovery.
  • Maintain security compliance, including monitoring security scores and rating matrices.
  • Coordinate with network teams for L1 networking-related issues.
  • Work with managed service providers and vendors to track and resolve open infrastructure issues.

This is not an exhaustive list. The role may evolve based on business and infrastructure requirements.

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in Windows Server Administration at L2 level.
  • Strong expertise in Active Directory management, including schema, replication, and domain troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) and automation.
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting skills for system management and automation.
  • Strong experience with VMware environments.
  • Experience handling Windows OS support in large enterprise environments.
  • Good understanding of backup technologies and recovery processes.
  • Experience troubleshooting DNS and SMTP relay management.
  • Ability to handle high-severity incidents and P1 escalations effectively.
  • Strong coordination skills with vendors and managed service providers.
  • Understanding of SQL database functionality at an infrastructure level.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Good To Have
  • Exposure to Radius server configuration.
  • Experience managing cloud file servers and backup systems.
  • Knowledge of performance analyzers and monitoring tools.
  • Basic L1 networking knowledge.
  • Experience working in large enterprise or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environments.
  • Familiarity with security compliance frameworks and audit handling.

What We Care About

  • Structured troubleshooting over reactive fixes.
  • Stability and reliability over shortcuts.
