About The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly resourceful and ambitious Operations Analyst, Legal & Compliance to join our lean, fast-paced legal team. This isn't a traditional "administrative" legal role; we are seeking someone with a product-focused mindset who aims to automate and scale processes rather than just follow them.

What You'll Do

• Own Entity Compliance: You’ll be the central point person for maintaining our corporate entities in "Good Standing" across the US and Canada, independently managing all reports and state requests.
• Protect the Brand: Monitor our intellectual property presence, identify infringements, and be responsible for drafting and initiating cease-and-desist workflows.
• Investigate & Educate: Act as the initial point of contact for complex consumer escalations, investigating root causes, proposing strategic solutions, and spearheading compliance training initiatives for the entire workforce.
• Drive Product & Process Improvements: Review products and processes for compliance. When user friction or compliance risks are identified, you’ll directly collaborate with our Engineering and Product teams to implement systemic improvements.
• Run Tight Audits: Lead compliance audits across operations, proactively monitoring key risk areas to ensure our practices not only meet baseline regulatory standards but also set industry benchmarks for excellence.
• Automate Everything: Utilize AI and low-code tools to transform manual legal tasks into scalable workflows, with the ultimate goal of building self-sustaining systems.

Requirements

• Academic Excellence: A Bachelor’s degree from an academically rigorous program with a demonstrated track record of high performance.
• Driver Mindset: A proven history of extreme resourcefulness, characterized by finding solutions proactively and ensuring all tasks are thoroughly completed.
• Product & Tech Savvy: A keen interest in leveraging AI and technology to optimize workflows, preferring automated tools or spreadsheets over manual checklists.
• Impeccable Attention to Detail: A "zero-error" mentality for regulatory filings and compliance audits, coupled with the organizational rigor to prevent any deadlines or cross-functional projects from being missed.
