The Technical Challenge
More than 80% of Americans own a car and see it as a necessity, yet the car ownership experience remains outdated. At Jerry.ai, we are building the first mobile app to manage the entire journey of car ownership.
Our insurance marketplace is our core product, and our ability to automate the end-to-end shopping experience is our key differentiator. The Sales Automation Team is responsible for managing complex, multi-step transactions with external systems to finalize insurance policy purchases. In a space lacking modern APIs, we build custom orchestration layers that navigate both internal and external interfaces, focusing on asynchronous state management and real-time system reliability.
Your challenge: Evolve our legacy automation systems into a robust and fault-tolerant framework that can gracefully handle external changes and scale across dozens of new categories with minimal manual intervention.

What You’ll Own
At Jerry.ai, you will take charge of modernizing our automation system. Initially, you will dive into the code and gain a deep understanding of both technical and business aspects. You will then lead the incremental refactoring efforts to design and implement a new, predictable system. As the architecture stabilizes, you will drive an AI-first approach to build next-generation internal tools to support growth from 5M to 50M users.
