The Role

The UX Engineer at Jellyvision is a front-end powerhouse responsible for combining research, data, UX thinking, and design execution into intuitive, scalable user experiences. You will partner with a cross-functional team to transform complex Medicare concepts into accessible interfaces, articulate design decisions clearly, and ensure high quality across devices and browsers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transform Medicare complexities into clear, intuitive UI patterns.
  • Create scenarios, system maps, task flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
  • Conduct user research and validate design decisions with testing.
  • Translate mockups into responsive and interactive UI components using modern frameworks.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and development teams.
  • Evaluate and implement innovative tools and techniques, including AI and nonlinear animation tools like Rive.

Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years in UX design and front-end development.
  • Expertise in online content presentation, layout, and information design.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JS, React (Next.js/Typescript), and modern web technologies.
  • Deep understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) for a senior audience.
  • Strong skills in Figma and rapid prototyping tools.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience in complex or regulated industries is a plus.

The Details

Location: Remote (with eligibility to work from multiple US states including CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, MI, MN, NC, NY, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI). Starting Salary: $95,000 - $110,000.
