About the Position
The Faculty Nurse Anesthesia Program Faculty Position at Jefferson Health is a part-time academic role with the Jefferson College of Nursing. The role focuses on providing classroom and clinical instruction in the DNP Nurse Anesthesia Program. Applicants must demonstrate at least three years of direct patient care as a certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) and have expertise in evidence-based practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide in-person classroom instruction and course management
- Develop, revise, and record lecture content
- Hold office hours and participate in simulation labs
- Participate in admissions and guide student DNP projects
- Offer counseling and remediation for clinical incidents
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in nursing or a related discipline from an accredited institution, possess an unencumbered PA RN license, and certification as a CRNA through the NBCRNA. Three years clinical experience in direct patient care as a CRNA is required. Teaching experience is preferred, as is active participation in professional organizations.
