Key Highlights of the CRNA Per Diem Role

  • Engage with a wide variety of surgical cases, including General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, GI, Urology, Neurosurgery, Pediatrics, and OB.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
  • Possession of a Master’s degree in nursing.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) licenses in New Jersey, or eligibility thereof.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, evidence-based anesthesia care, working in close collaboration with anesthesiologists.
  • Conduct comprehensive preoperative assessments, formulate tailored anesthetic plans, and adeptly manage intraoperative and post-anesthesia patient care.
  • Maintain effective communication channels with the entire surgical team and ensure meticulous documentation.
  • Actively participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives, continuous educational activities, and all mandatory training programs.
  • Uphold all required licensure, certifications, and continuing education requirements.
