The Administrative Assistant - Equity Research at Jefferies provides high-level support in the Equity Research department in New York. This role requires a team player with exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills, thriving in a fast-paced environment while supporting senior management, analysts, and associated teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative support to senior management and analysts.
- Schedule calls, meetings, and maintain accurate calendars.
- Coordinate complex travel arrangements using SAP/Concur including visas and approvals.
- Ensure timely delivery of presentations for meetings and trips.
- Create and submit Travel & Expense reports via Concur.
- Assist with event planning, booking, and guest registration.
- Maintain contact and distribution lists for Analysts.
- Manage general office support activities such as handling phone lines, file maintenance, copying, binding, and shipping documents.
- Fill in for other assistants as needed.
Qualifications
- 5 to 7 years of administrative experience supporting senior-level executives.
- Experience within equity research, investment banking, or similar financial sectors preferred.
- Proven ability to multi-task and anticipate team needs in demanding settings.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and SAP/Concur; Excel and PowerPoint skills are an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Must be available to work onsite 5 days per week.
