Summary

The Administrative Assistant - Equity Research role is based in New York. This position supports the Equity Research department by providing high-level administrative assistance to senior management and analysts. The ideal candidate is a team player with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administrative support to senior management and analysts
  • Schedule calls, meetings, and manage calendars accurately
  • Coordinate complex travel arrangements using SAP/Concur
  • Ensure timely delivery of presentations and marketing materials
  • Create and submit Travel & Expense reports via Concur
  • Support event planning and execution
  • Maintain contact and distribution lists for Analysts
  • Manage general office duties including phone handling, file maintenance, and shipping documents
  • Fill in for other assistants as needed

Qualifications

  • 5 to 7 years of administrative experience supporting senior-level executives
  • Experience in equity research, investment banking, or similar financial sectors preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook; SAP/Concur experience required
  • Excel and PowerPoint skills are a plus
  • Strong communication, organization, and confidentiality skills required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Availability to work onsite 5 days per week

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this full-time position is between $90,000 and $115,000. Jefferies offers a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life, accident, and disability insurance, along with paid time off and bonus incentives.
