The Director, Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is a vital member of the HR leadership team. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, this role is responsible for executing people strategies in North America that drive business growth, innovation, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership.
  • Lead workforce planning, organizational design, and succession planning.
  • Drive change management for M&A integration and transformation initiatives.
  • Champion a high-performance culture through leadership development and performance management.
  • Oversee complex employee relations ensuring legal compliance and alignment with company values.
  • Leverage data analytics to inform talent decisions and measure HR program impact.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and Learning & Development COEs.
  • Influence compensation, promotions, and internal mobility strategies.
  • Partner with Legal and Compliance on employment law matters as needed.
  • Mentor and develop HR team members for continuous learning.

Qualifications

15+ years progressive HR experience with 7+ years in a senior HRBP role. Preferred industry background in Data Analytics, Technology, or Automotive sectors. Must have a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field; advanced degree or HR certification is a plus. Strong business acumen, excellent communication, and stakeholder management skills are required.
