Digital Dealer Major Group & Publics Advisor
Location: Remote K-level operations teams to implement scalable digital strategies.
What You’ll Be Doing In This Role
- Serve as the primary SmartDigital advisor for large dealer groups and public automotive retailers, supporting all OEM programs within the portfolio.
- Partner directly with enterprise digital leadership, marketing executives, CRM/BDC directors, and corporate operations teams to implement scalable digital strategies.
- Conduct enterprise-level performance reviews across websites, SEO, SEM, social media, reputation management, CRM, lead management, and retailing tools.
- Provide guidance across all OEM digital programs under SmartDigital, ensuring alignment, compliance, and optimization across the dealer group.
- Deliver in-depth reporting and analytics for group-level and rooftop-level performance, identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and improved digital ROI.
- Establish governance frameworks and best practices to ensure consistent digital execution across multiple rooftops and brands.
- Lead strategic discussions on vendor selection, technology ecosystems, organizational process optimization, and digital workflow improvements.
- Provide training, education, and strategic support to leadership teams on emerging digital trends and SMartDigital program enhancements.
- Collaborate with internal SmartDigital teams to guide enterprise adoption, address escalations, and influence product direction based on dealer group needs.
- Act as a problem-solver and strategic consultant for complex digital-marketing challenges affecting large-scale organizations.
Qualifications Of This Role
- 5+ years of experience in automotive digital marketing, retail operations, consulting, or enterprise-level dealer-group engagement.
- Strong understanding of multi-rooftop organizational structures, including centralized marketing, BDC/CRM operations, and enterprise technology ecosystems.
- Experience consulting with large dealer groups, public automotive organizations, or OEM partners on digital strategy.
- Deep knowledge of websites, digital advertising, SEO/SEM, CRM, analytics, and digital retailing platforms.
- Ability to lead strategic conversations with executives and influence organizational adoption of digital standards and best practices.
- Demonstrated analytical strength with the ability to interpret complex performance data and present insights to leadership.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience delivering presentations to senior leadership teams.
- Ability to manage multiple enterprise accounts simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of service.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to create scalable processes across large groups.
