Position Overview
Work closely with business department teams to align IT initiatives with business needs and standards. Monitor the IT budget and resources to ensure cost-effective service delivery. Act as the main contact for user inquiries and service requests, coordinating support with IT teams and vendors, while collaborating with business and technical teams on requirements, timelines, and change requests. Identify project risks, track necessary actions, and support ad-hoc tasks as assigned. Collaborate with stakeholders to introduce new technologies and improve processes to enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the system architectural design and solutions to meet business requirements and cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain good performance on system infrastructure and high system availability at all times.
- Create and maintain project schedules, identify activities, sequences, dependencies, and associated resource requirements for project milestones.
- Study, plan, and manage the system upgrade and integration projects.
- Handle hardware and software upgrade, replacement, and purchasing, etc.
- Managing end-to-end new application projects and enhancement, from collecting internal users' requirements, communicating with external vendors on system design and implementation to UAT testing, post-implementation training, and documentation.
- Manage a technical support team to provide technical and helpdesk support for our call centres and service centres, including system setup, backup, troubleshooting, and administration of large-scale infrastructure of servers and network, etc.
- Perform audit on IT security & support process and asset management.
- Managing Entra ID to ensure the right people have access to the right tools. This includes setting up MFA, managing user accounts, and blocking security threats.
- Design and governance the outsourcing vendor on Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Support the SharePoint online environment and Office 365 tools and licensing.
Qualifications
- Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline.
- A minimum of 7 years of comprehensive IT experience in system design and administration of large-scale infrastructure and applications.
- Technical Breadth: Proven track record leading IT functions across Infrastructure & Networking and Security & Controls.
- Responsible for SLAs, incident management, enhancements, and projects related to assigned applications or IT processes.
- Develop and implement technology policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting issues and resolving problems.
- Knowledge of developing and supporting multi-tiered application environments (Web, Application, and Database connectivity) and high availability systems.
- Knowledge in developing with Power Platform (apps, automate, BI, etc.).
- Basic knowledge on enterprise networking.
- Hands-on experience in Cloud Computing (Azure / Ali Cloud), Linux, and IT Security.
- Help develop solutions to bring value supporting internal customers’ strategy and initiatives.
- Communicate timely and effectively with the relevant parties on all relevant topics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English and Chinese, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
