Overview

The Senior Manpower, Personnel and Training Specialist supports the DDG 1000 Logistics Department in developing, reviewing, and approving DDG 1000 MPT products. A candidate must have an active Secret clearance and meet the minimum requirements before applying.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate reports, schedules, recommendations, plans, performance metrics, and briefs.
  • Support Manpower, Personnel and Training (MPT) activities.
  • Monitor training curriculum and software development.
  • Coordinate with Navy detailers and other personnel for crew detailing strategies.
  • Maintain current DDG 1000 MPT plans in Navy systems like NTSP and CSPP.
  • Facilitate working group meetings and interact with government and industry groups.
  • Schedule meetings and coordinate fleet participation for DDG 1000 events.
  • Integrate emerging Fleet initiatives into the DDG 1000 strategy.
  • Provide logistics direction to employees and subordinates.
  • Perform other program duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s preferred.
  • 15 years experience, including 5+ years in supervisory roles.
  • Experience in Navy acquisition logistics strategy and reporting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Navy contracting processes.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Secret clearance required and must maintain access to military installations.
