Account Manager

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team at Janus Engineering Germany. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, particularly with complex industrial products, and a passion for driving business growth.

Your Profile

  • Completed commercial or technical degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in sales of complex industrial products.
  • Experience in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), CAD, CAM, MES, or similar company software is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a keen understanding of the manufacturing industry's needs.
  • Independent and goal-oriented work style.
  • Very good German and good English language skills are required.
  • Willingness to travel.

Your Tasks

  • Acquisition and Sales: New customer acquisition and sales of high-quality software products and services in the manufacturing sector. This includes end-to-end customer engagement from initial contact to closing deals, as well as preparing quotes and customer presentations.
  • Customer Support and Consulting: Support clients from initial contact through contract negotiation and closing, and further develop business relationships using our extensive portfolio.
  • Building Long-Term Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain long-term, personal relationships with corporate clients.
  • External Representation: Represent JANUS Engineering AG at trade fairs and industry events, conduct presentations with our Pre-Sales team, and collaborate closely with Marketing.
  • Contribution to Sales Strategy: Participate in the development of business and sales strategies through independent target group, market, and competitor analyses to successfully sell software and services from our solution portfolio.
