About the role
Business Analyst AI Team
James Search Group is partnering with a leading global P&C insurance carrier to hire a Business Analyst to support a cutting-edge AI function focused on developing next-generation models and agentic AI solutions. This is a 2–4 year experience level role, ideal for someone looking to grow at the intersection of business, data, and AI engineering.
What you’ll do:
- Partner with AI engineers and data scientists to translate business needs into technical requirements
- Support development of AI/ML models and emerging agentic AI solutions
- Gather, document, and refine requirements, user stories, and workflows
- Assist in testing, validation, and continuous improvement of AI-driven products
- Work closely with stakeholders across business and technology
What we’re looking for:
- 2–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst (ideally in data, analytics, or AI environments)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts, data platforms, or analytics tools
- Agile/Scrum experience preferred
- P&C Insurance domain experience preferred
Location & Structure:
Hybrid – Manhattan, NYC. Structure: 6-month contract with potential full-time conversion. Hourly Rate: $50 – $60 per hour, depending on experience.
