Role Description

As an Associate Customer Success Manager, you will manage a portfolio of Aerospace & Defense clients and work closely with Account Executives and Consultants. You will drive product adoption, guide customers toward best practices, and help them fully realize the value of their investment. You will act as a trusted partner by identifying customer pain points and aligning their business needs with Jama Software products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end customer relationship across assigned accounts.
  • Accelerate onboarding and installation for rapid time to value.
  • Define success metrics and execute quarterly business reviews (QBRs).
  • Identify and engage customer stakeholders at various levels.
  • Develop strategic account plans to drive growth and manage renewal cycles.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, support, product, and finance.
  • Maintain accurate account data in CRM systems.
  • Present the Jama value proposition to executive and technical audiences.
  • Prepare renewal and growth forecasts with accuracy.
  • Contribute to playbooks and document best practices.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience as a Customer Success Manager or in a customer-facing role.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong relationship building and strategic account planning skills.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Jama Software products and solutions.
  • Prior experience in the Aerospace & Defense industry.
  • Knowledge of requirements management and ALM/PLM ecosystems.
