Overview

Jain Global is seeking a highly motivated Developer to join our Equity Arbitrage team in our New York City office. The Developer will work closely with traders, quantitative researchers, and senior engineers to support the development of trading infrastructure and analytical tools. This role involves being directly involved in quantitative research and execution processes.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with traders, quants, and engineers to build and maintain trading systems.
  • Develop data pipelines, trading analytics, and automation tools in Python.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle from design to deployment.
  • Troubleshoot and enhance existing systems to support evolving strategy requirements.
  • Contribute to a culture of engineering excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • 0-3 years of software development experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Python with clean and efficient coding practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in Big Tech or financial services is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Linux, Git, and data libraries such as Pandas, NumPy is a plus.
