Role Overview

The Menswear Design Manager at Jaded London is responsible for driving the Menswear design department forward. This creative role involves producing high-quality designs as well as leading a talented team of in-house designers and freelancers. You will work closely with Merchandising, Product Development teams and liaise with the Head of Menswear.

Responsibilities

Leadership: Set overall design direction that aligns with market trends and the brand's creative line. Integrate design work with the broader menswear strategy, manage a team of designers and freelancers, coach team members, and delegate project responsibilities while coordinating internal meetings and ensuring effective communications with Womenswear Design.

Design Management: Collaborate with your team to research trends using moodboards, develop range ideas, source fabrics and trims, create CADs, and initiate new branding with factory partners. Work closely alongside the social team to integrate innovative design feedback.

Technical Process: Attend fit sessions, dispatch fit comments, and monitor customer feedback on fit and fabrication.

General Duties: Organize factory visits, attend trade and other meetings, manage sample organization, and ensure effective archival of fabric swatches and fit samples.

Requirements

• 5 years industry experience.
• Proven creative leadership and design management.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD, Photoshop, Adobe, and Illustrator.
• Ability to manage deadlines and team workload.
• Trend-focused with attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of the Jaded London brand and customer.
