Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of duties including drafting, assisting in preparation of engineering quantity takeout, cost estimation, drawings, calculations, structural modelling, reports, technical memo, meeting minutes and other tasks such as organizing reports and packaging submissions.
Here's what you'll need
- In pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program.
- Demonstrated interest in civil transportation projects or structures. Preferably bridge design.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must work in a group or team atmosphere.
- Excellent organization and critical thinking, problem solving skills.
- Must be willing to ask questions and organize thoughts or solutions during tasks.
- Strong time management and attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
Following will be considered as additional assets
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, Bluebeam Revu, and Revit.
- A previous internship related to bridge design.
- Self-driven time management and organizational skills.
