About the Role
The Proposal Coordinator – Cities & Places at Jacobs helps win work by supporting various business development assignments including strategic proposals, qualification statements and letters of interest. You will support proposal creation, ensure compliance, and coordinate with diverse teams to meet deadlines.
Your Impact
In this role, you will:
- Support proposals under the guidance of senior Sales Operations staff.
- Coordinate, write, edit, and tailor non-technical proposal sections.
- Participate in kick-off and milestone meetings.
- Populate and update information in Jacobs’ Client Success Platform and other tools.
- Foster relationships with various internal teams and partners.
Progressive Responsibilities
You will begin by assisting with proposal sections and grow to lead the End Game coordination for small to medium proposals, collaborating with graphic designers, editors, and other support teams. Participation in debrief meetings, maintaining quality assurance, and adherence to Jacobs’ branding and sales strategies are key.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate has:
- A Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communication, technical, or a similar field.
- 2+ years of proposal coordinator experience, preferably in engineering, architecture, or construction industries.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.

The base salary range for this role is between $70,900 and $90,000, with individual pay influenced by location, experience, and skills.
