About the Role
As the Director, Creative Strategy, you will be a leader in idea generation, strategic thinking, and problem-solving. You will spearhead strategic thinking for key automotive accounts, ensuring the delivery of best-in-class work that drives business growth. You are a blend of business consultant and creative strategist, capable of providing deep insights and actionable inspiration that resonate with culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Function as the cultural engine of the account, proactively surfacing ideas, talent, and cultural moments.
- Build and champion concepts, identifying opportunities, constructing rationale, and engaging clients.
- Partner with executive-level clients, including CMOs, to challenge, inspire, and guide them toward bold decisions.
- Stay immersed in culture (social platforms, live events, emerging talent, brand partnerships) and translate this into actionable opportunities.
- Engineer experiential and live moments for social and digital amplification.
- Mentor and develop strategists, modeling culturally-driven thinking.
- Serve as the lead strategist on projects, accounts, and new business initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of marketing experience, preferably agency-side (PR/social media/digital marketing/influencer marketing).
- A strong portfolio showcasing concepts, campaigns, your role in their execution, and their results.
- A cultural thought leader with experience pitching and executing ideas for major brands.
- Someone who leads with ideas, not just frameworks.
- Fluency in the influencer ecosystem, social platforms, and digital amplification of live experiences.
- Comfort communicating with clients at all organizational levels.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
- Passion for and deep understanding of culture, media, entertainment, and lifestyle interests.
