Role Overview

The Senior Manager - Business & Partnerships (Flights) oversees and manages end-to-end airline partnerships. This role is responsible for contracting with airline partners, driving commercial outcomes and ensuring sustainable revenue performance within the flights vertical.

Responsibilities

  • Drive negotiations and closure of PLBs and other incentive based deals.
  • Secure best terms for commission, volume targets and marketing funds.
  • Source tactical fares during promotional and sales campaigns.
  • Collaborate with Product, Tech and Finance teams for smooth deal execution.
  • Monitor performance against volume targets, market share and achievement metrics.
  • Present actionable insights for renegotiations to the leadership team.
  • Track market trends, competitor activities and adjust commercial strategies.
  • Work with Analytics and Finance for supply dashboards and payout accuracy.
  • Structure, execute, and renew contracts ensuring compliance.
  • Oversee fare sourcing via direct connect APIs and GDS platforms.
  • Maintain regular cadence with airline distribution teams for upgrades.
  • Source all product and fare types within the API ecosystems.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Management or Sales & Marketing from a reputed B-School.
  • 7–10 years of experience in airline commercial roles, OTA partnerships, GDS operations, and revenue management.
  • Proficiency in GDS with hands-on experience in Amadeus and Galileo.
  • Expertise in PLB deal structuring, negotiation and partner account growth.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a bias for execution and attention to detail.
