Role Overview

The Senior Manager - Business & Partnerships will oversee end-to-end airline partnerships, managing the complete contracting process and driving best-in-class commercial outcomes. This role emphasizes revenue performance and sustainable growth within the flights vertical.

Responsibilities

  • Drive negotiations for PLBs and incentive based deals covering multiple fare types.
  • Secure optimal commission terms, volume targets, and marketing funds with airlines.
  • Source tactical fares during promotional and sales campaigns.
  • Collaborate with Product, Tech, and Finance teams for smooth deal execution.
  • Monitor airline performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations for deal re-negotiations.
  • Align with Analytics for revenue dashboards and target tracking.
  • Ensure accuracy in payout calculations and resolve discrepancies with the Finance team.
  • Structure, execute, and renew contracts with compliance and legal hygiene.
  • Oversee fare sourcing via APIs and GDS platforms for direct airline relationships.
  • Coordinate with airline distribution teams for new enhancements and upgrades.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Management / Sales & Marketing from a reputed B-School.
  • 7–10 years of experience in airline commercial roles, OTA partnerships, GDS operations, and revenue management.
  • Proficiency in GDS with hands-on experience in Amadeus and Galileo.
  • Strong expertise in PLB deal structuring, negotiation, and partner account growth.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability to generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for internal and external collaboration.
