Overview
IWK Health, a respected academic health sciences centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, is seeking a Clinical Therapist for Family Intensive Outreach Services. This role is part of the Mental Health and Addictions department, providing care to children, youth and families through evidence-based interventions and community outreach.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical therapy including individual, family, and group interventions.
- Conduct evidence-based assessments, treatment planning, and case formulation.
- Work within a multi-disciplinary team in various settings including in-home and community venues.
- Supervise and mentor staff, students, and allied health workers.
- Implement the Choice and Partnership Approach (CAPA) and eco-systemic structural family therapy.
