About the Role

The Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Ivanti is a hands-on role focused on ensuring the reliability, deployment, and continuous operation of Ivanti's Cloud SaaS environments. The role involves infrastructure, networking, operating systems, automation, development, and application administration.

Responsibilities

  • Deploying, managing, and securing production SaaS environments in AWS and Azure
  • Collaborating with cross-departmental teams across geographies
  • Automating repetitive tasks and writing documentation
  • Conducting on-call rotations and providing incident response
  • Training colleagues and mentoring junior team members

Requirements

  • BSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years in the industry
  • Proficiency with Python and experience in Java, Golang, or C#
  • Expertise in Bash/PowerShell scripting, Linux and Windows environments
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), IaC, and deployment tools like Ansible and Jenkins
  • Knowledge in troubleshooting application, network, and storage infrastructure issues

Nice-to-Haves

  • Prior experience as an SRE or DevOps Engineer
  • Relevant certifications (Cloud, Kubernetes, Linux)
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks and privacy regulations

Roadmap for Success

90 Days: Complete onboarding, build foundational SRE knowledge, and develop team relationships.

6 Months: Become self-sufficient, participate in on-call rotations, and contribute to SRE tasks.

1 Year: Independently improve SaaS environment reliability, lead defined projects, and mentor peers.
