We are looking for a freelance Lecturer AI Inference and Causality to contribute to our academic world at our Berlin campus, starting on April 1, 2026, with 48 teaching units.
Your Responsibilities as Lecturer AI Inference and Causality
- Teach fundamental knowledge with high practical relevance in areas such as Statistical Inference, Probabilistic Modeling, Foundations of Causal Inference, Intervention Analysis, Do-Calculus, and Fallacies in Causal Reasoning.
- Be responsible for the correction of exams related to your courses.
- Design engaging courses utilizing high-quality teaching materials provided through a comprehensive coursebook.
- Conduct practical teaching sessions and tutorials on-site, fostering an active and interactive learning environment.
- Support dual students in effectively combining theoretical knowledge with practical application, contributing to their holistic development.
Your Profile
- Successfully completed a university degree in Data Science or a closely related field.
- Possess practical work experience directly relevant to the subject area of AI Inference and Causality.
- Ideally, have initial experience in academic teaching, such as a tutor, teacher, lecturer, or research assistant.
- Demonstrate a strong interest in innovative, digital, and modern education.
- Enjoy working with students and are committed to their learning journey.
- Hold English language skills at a C1 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
