Job Description for Business Analyst Jr

This role is based in Lisbon for iTRecruiter and requires a hybrid work model with two days in the office weekly. The candidate will collaborate across multiple business domains, gathering and analyzing requirements, facilitating communication between stakeholders and technical teams, and driving process improvements and system implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and meetings to gather detailed requirements.
  • Analyze workflows and processes to identify efficiency improvements.
  • Develop documentation including business requirements, process maps, user stories, and functional specifications.
  • Collaborate with IT and operational teams to design, test, and deploy solutions.
  • Support data analysis tasks and ensure adherence to internal, regulatory, and data governance standards.
  • Facilitate communication between business and technical teams for clarity and alignment.
  • Assist in creating training materials and end-user documentation.
  • Monitor project progress and manage changes and deliverables.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and share best practices.
  • Maintain transparent, trust-based relationships with stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 1-3 years experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into clear technical specifications.
  • Strong communication skills in English (B2 or higher); Portuguese is a plus.
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Background in data analysis, data modeling, and validation.
  • Hands-on experience with E-invoicing and testing processes (mandatory).
  • Strong problem-solving and documentation skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a multicultural team.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and business analysis best practices.
