Job Description

Inventory & Logistics Coordinator (Part-Time, Remote)

We are seeking an Inventory & Logistics Coordinator for a part-time, fully remote role (3 days per week) supporting our Melbourne operations. This is a hands-on role focused on inventory control, system accuracy, and logistics coordination. You will work closely with internal teams and third-party logistics (3PL) partners to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and accurate stock management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory accuracy, including stock adjustments, cycle counts, and batch/expiry tracking.
  • Process purchase orders, sales orders, and inventory transactions in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics with 3PL partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor stock levels and support replenishment planning to prevent shortages or overstock.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and system-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare basic reports (stock on hand, backorders, etc.).
  • Liaise with internal teams (sales, warehouse, finance) and external vendors.
  • Support continuous improvement of inventory and logistics processes.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Mandatory: Experience using Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 (or similar ERP systems).
  • 2–4 years of experience in inventory control, logistics, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management processes (stock control, adjustments, batch handling).
  • Experience working with warehousing or 3PL environments.
  • Proficiency in Excel for reporting and data handling.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with remote teams and external partners.
