About the role
MBD Developer (F/H/X)
As part of international automotive projects focused on innovation in powertrain and after-treatment systems (EATS), you will be at the heart of software design. You will join IT Link and be seconded to our client, working within an experienced technical team in a dynamic and stimulating Agile environment. In direct contact with the Scrum Master and Product Owner, you will actively participate in defining tomorrow's software strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analysis & Specification: Read, understand, and challenge system specifications to derive software requirements (SW requirements).
- Design & Development: Implement technical solutions using Simulink/TargetLink (Model-Based Design) and manage configuration with Git/Bitbucket.
- Validation & Quality: Ensure code reliability through MIL, SIL, HIL testing strategies, and on vehicle test benches.
- Documentation: Write test specifications and associated validation reports.
- Continuous Integration: Once quality is secured (code reviews, static analyses), integrate work into the software factory using Jenkins.
- Reporting: Regularly communicate development progress and participate in team Agile rituals.
Candidate Profile:
This position is for you if you have:
- A background in engineering or a Master's degree (Bac +5) in electronics, industrial computing, or automation.
- Significant experience in embedded software development, specifically within the automotive sector.
- Rigor, analytical skills, and proficiency in working within an Agile team environment.
Technical Skills:
- Proven mastery of Model-Based development (Simulink, TargetLink) and network analysis tools (CANalyzer).
- Proficient use of versioning tools (Git) and continuous integration (Jenkins).
- Knowledge of control theory (PID, system identification) and ideally of after-treatment systems (EATS).
- Fluent English, essential for international contexts.
- Bonus: C/C++ skills or knowledge of the ISO 26262 standard are real assets.
This role is NOT for you if:
- Implementing models in Simulink, code generation via TargetLink, or MIL/SIL/HIL validation strategies are not part of your technical daily routine.
Additional Information:
- Contract: Permanent contract (CDI) with IT Link France.
- Compensation: Between €45K and €50K fixed annual salary, depending on profile.
