About the role

Data Engineer

Are you an experienced Data Engineer looking to transform raw data into an industrial efficiency lever for a world leader in transport?

Why are we recruiting?

Within a cutting-edge "Digital Lab", you will join an agile team of 10 experts (Engineers, Analysts, Scientists). Your mission: to automate manual processes and ensure the reliability of data flows to optimize production (waste reduction, capitalizing on field data, etc.). Here, we are not looking for a simple technical executor, but a true partner for the R&D and production departments.

Your Missions Include:

  • Define the need: Immerse yourself in the workshop or design office to understand real business issues.
  • Design End-to-End pipelines: Create automated data flows (RPA) and industrialize architectures on Databricks.
  • Ensure quality: Guarantee the integrity, validity, and non-redundancy of stored data.
  • Optimize analytics: Improve complex SQL queries to boost existing Power BI reports.
  • Mentor: Support the skill development of an internal junior Data Engineer.
  • Operate internationally: Collaborate with teams based in Sweden and India.

Candidate Profile

This position is for you if...

  • You are a graduate of an engineering school and have 5 to 10 years of experience in Data Engineering.
  • You have a perfect command of Python, SQL, and the Databricks environment. Notions of RPA or Power Platform are a real plus.
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills: you enjoy daily contact with internal clients and know how to simplify complex issues.
  • You possess a true industrial culture and curiosity for the automotive/heavy goods vehicle sector.
  • Your English is fluent, essential for daily exchanges with international teams.

This position is NOT for you if…

  • You are a pure Data Scientist or Data Analyst. Your role here is to "clean and build the pipelines" so that the data is reliable before handing it over to the analysts.
