The Role: Web Designer/Developer WordPress No-Code Tools
You will join a small, skilled team of engineers, product managers, and AI experts working remotely across the globe.
Responsibilities
- Build, design, and launch responsive landing pages and websites using WordPress and no-code tools.
- Maintain and update existing WordPress sites, handling both front-end and PHP back-end work.
- Implement plugin-based or custom functionality, and translate briefs or Figma designs into optimized pages.
- Ensure pages are responsive, fast-loading, and SEO-friendly.
- Set up third-party tools like forms, tracking pixels, and analytics.
- Troubleshoot bugs and resolve layout/performance issues.
- Stay updated on modern no-code platforms and AI/web automation trends.
- Integrate AI tools such as chatbots and copy generators when relevant.
Requirements
Must-have:
- 2+ years of experience building WordPress websites with custom themes, builders, and plugins.
- Proficiency in editing and writing PHP to extend WordPress functionality.
- Fluency in at least two modern no-code tools (e.g., Framer, Webflow, Carrd, Typedream, Softr).
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
- Ability to translate Figma designs into responsive pages.
- Experience embedding custom scripts, third-party tools, and tracking systems.
- Proven experience integrating AI tools like chatbots, personalization engines, and copy generators.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with custom post types, Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), or Gutenberg blocks.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices, Core Web Vitals, and performance optimization.
- Experience using Git for version control.
- Familiarity with Figma for design implementation.
- Experience with marketing tools like Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Hotjar, and HubSpot.
- Understanding of conversion optimization, A/B testing, and funnel logic.
