About the Role

We are looking for a Junior QA Tester to join our growing quality assurance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to start or grow a career in software testing. You’ll work closely with our development and product teams to ensure our applications meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using tools such as Jira.
  • Perform manual testing of new features, bug fixes, and releases.
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers on feature requirements.
  • Re-test resolved issues and verify bug fixes.
  • Assist in writing clear and effective test cases.
  • Support regression and user acceptance testing (UAT) cycles.
  • Learn and contribute to test automation efforts over time.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). Basic understanding of software development and QA concepts. Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving and communication skills. Familiarity with QA or bug-tracking tools like Jira is a plus. Experience with testing web or mobile applications is preferred.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Basic understanding of SQL, Postman, or API testing.
  • Exposure to test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
