About the Role

The Senior Business Analyst at isgSearch is responsible for owning and delivering analytical project planning and execution for audit and advisory engagements at a complex life insurance organization. The role involves leading discussions, establishing scope, objectives, and deliverables while performing data analytics procedures and testing to evaluate controls and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead analytical project planning and execution for audit engagements.
  • Collaborate with IT and Business Unit users to understand data structure and accessibility.
  • Develop and execute data access plans and facilitate stakeholder discussions.
  • Build and document extensive business, system, and data source knowledge.
  • Lead and develop proof of concept solutions for audit automation projects.

Qualifications

Candidates must have strong technology and analytical skills with hands-on experience in applying descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytics. The role requires extensive experience with statistical techniques such as regression analysis, cluster analysis, and decision trees, along with anomaly detection methods.

  • 5-7 years of experience using SQL, Python, and related data libraries.
  • Proficiency in visualization tools such as PowerBI/Tableau and AWS SageMaker.
  • Ability to develop impactful presentations, visualizations, and dashboards for executives.
