The Opportunity: Senior Medical Science Liaison Biosimilars

This is a significant opportunity to join IQVIA's expanding team as a Senior Medical Science Liaison Biosimilars, based in the South of France. This newly created role is vital to our customer's ongoing success and upcoming product launches. You will contribute to the medical strategy within a company operating in diverse, highly specialist therapy areas and demonstrating substantial growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers through scientific discussions, presentations, and education, covering half of France.
  • Provide expert medical information and respond to complex medical questions from clinicians.
  • Offer internal scientific support and training, acting as a crucial resource for commercial colleagues.
  • Coordinate scientific education activities and participate in key events like Advisory Boards and congresses.
  • Support investigators and foster interactions with scientific societies and patient groups.
  • Collect and report relevant market insights, including competitor information and treatment patterns, back to the company.
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of the Medical Plan specifically for France.
  • Gather and report medical and congress intelligence.
  • Develop local publications and maintain consistent communication with the Medical Director and HQ Medical team.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), providing essential educational and scientific support.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the Commercial Department and Country Managers to achieve strategic objectives.

Qualifications

  • A scientific degree is essential (e.g., PhD, PharmD, MD, MSc).
  • Proven pharmaceutical industry experience as an MSL in France is a mandatory requirement.
  • Experience in biosimilars or across various therapy areas will be highly valued.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively influence stakeholders.
  • Fluency in French and strong English language skills are required.
  • Must be based in France and possess a full driving license.
