Data Analyst (Contract) at IQVIA
Ensure client queries and concerns regarding IQVIA offerings are addressed in a timely manner within standard agreed upon response times. The candidate will consistently research and respond to all client queries and work with a team of analysts to share knowledge and support workload across various offerings and databases.
Job Description
Receive and review all client queries submitted by the client services analysts for clarity and completeness. Research client query using all available tools and perform cross database analysis to ensure accuracy of datasets. Determine if issues exist and recommend correction/improvement to the data. Work with several support teams to complete research and analysis. Communicate with client service analysts to provide updates and resolutions for the client.
Responsibilities
- Use expert knowledge of IQVIA data, Pharma market, programming and statistical methods to understand, research, interrogate, analyze and evaluate available information to respond to client queries and questions.
- Consult with internal teams to resolve and recommend corrections/changes to data/processes.
- Communicate findings and resolutions clearly and concisely through IQVIA query tracking tool process to all stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve query process and research/analysis process.
- Ensure quality of work in processing queries is maintained and improved.
Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Knowledge of IQVIA datasets/databases an asset.
- Knowledge of MS-Excel, MS-Access.
- Strong knowledge SQL and relational database concepts.
- Knowledge of the Canadian Healthcare/Pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong client focus and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills; ability to prioritize and multi-task.
Required Education And Experience
- University degree (Science, Business, MIS) or 4 or more years of relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of IQVIA departments, product, services an asset.
- Knowledge of the prescription, sales and claims databases and claims reimbursement landscape.

Salary Range
The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $65,900.00 - $109,800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
