Job Description

Compliance Consultant at IQVIA

As a Compliance Consultant at IQVIA, you will play a pivotal role on teams led by Engagement Managers and Principals, working to achieve client contract objectives. This position involves a significant client-facing component, often serving as the day-to-day client contact for projects. You will be responsible for overseeing deliverables, managing timelines, and ensuring the smooth execution of projects, while also conducting quality reviews of all team outputs. Special internal projects will be assigned on an as-needed basis.

Projects undertaken by a Compliance Consultant cover a diverse range of subject matters, including:

  • Compliance Consulting: Programmatic design and implementation, business needs and risk assessments, benchmarking, and industry best practices.
  • Commercial Operations and Business Process Enhancement: HCP/O engagement process design, operations, process transformation, and support for technology rollouts.
  • Fair Market Value (FMV): HCP Tiering Methodology, Rate Analysis, and FMV process implementation.
  • Transparency and Aggregate Spend: Addressing international laws and regulations such such as the US Sunshine Act, France Transparency and Engagement Notifications Requirements, and EFPIA.
  • Auditing and Monitoring: Live monitoring, transactional and data analysis, and comprehensive compliance auditing.

Special projects and internal initiatives will also be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Support and lead consulting projects, guiding clients through business workshops and interviews.
  • Develop project deliverables including data analyses, reports, process reviews, assessments, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Formulate, articulate, and present ideas and opinions clearly and persuasively.
  • Manage projects and take accountability for their successful completion.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff members.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients and proactively identify future business opportunities.
  • Create high-quality project deliverables with appropriate oversight from senior staff.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the organization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills & Experience

  • Client Relationship Delivery: Serve as the day-to-day owner of client delivery within leading Life Sciences organizations, prioritizing client satisfaction and exceptional deliverables.
  • Analytical Problem-Solving: Apply a systematic approach to problem-solving, gathering information from various sources to reach logical conclusions. Effectively manage complex, conflicting, or ambiguous information, identifying underlying patterns and causes.
  • Effective Communication: Express ideas clearly and concisely, tailoring messages to target audiences. Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications & Other Requirements

  • Minimum 2 - 4 years of strategic management consulting or legal experience, ideally from a Big 4 firm, strategy consulting firm, specialized healthcare consulting firm, or law firm.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience is required; an MBA, a Law Degree (JD or equivalent), or another master’s degree is preferred.
  • A proven track record of delivering projects successfully, on time and within budget.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Possess an entrepreneurial spirit, be an independent worker, organized, and self-motivated.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative abilities: comfortable with numbers, possessing strong business acumen, and excellent leadership skills.
  • Willingness to offer a different opinion and effectively articulate thoughts and concepts.
  • Ability and willingness to continuously improve skills aligned with IQVIA's core competencies.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% as required.
  • Experience or knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, particularly compliance and risk management issues, is a strong plus.
  • If not an EU citizen, must possess a resident visa or a permanent visa.
