The Technical Program Manager will proactively help manage or lead major and high-severity incidents as needed, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure fast identification, mitigation, and resolution of issues. This includes driving clear and timely communication with all relevant stakeholders—both technical and business—to minimize operational impact and facilitate post-incident reviews and continuous improvement.
What You Can Expect To Be Doing
- Lead and oversee end-to-end cloud transformation and migration projects, as well as modernization of traditional IT infrastructure.
- Provide technical leadership across multi-cloud and legacy data center environments.
- Ensure alignment between cloud/infrastructure strategies and broader business goals, timelines, and budgets.
- Drive operational excellence including incident, change, and problem management across cloud and on-prem environments.
- Manage and coordinate critical and high-severity incidents, ensuring prompt resolution and stakeholder communication.
- Oversee network architecture, data protection, backup & recovery, disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity (BCP) aspects.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure seamless service and project delivery.
- Champion security principles in infrastructure and cloud solutions, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
- Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to increase system stability and operational efficiency.
- Lead technical project execution using Scrum and Agile methodologies, support continuous improvement cycles.
- Use tools such as JIRA and ServiceNow for service management, project tracking, and collaboration.
- Act as a strategic partner to Finance, managing cloud and infrastructure spend and forecasting.
This might be the job for you if you have:
- 10+ years of experience in IT, with a strong mix of cloud and traditional infrastructure experience.
- Certifications (Preferred): AWS/Azure Architect, ITIL v4, PMP, CISSP, Scrum Master.
- Strong experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle Cloud).
- Knowledge of traditional Infrastructure: Data center, on-prem servers, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), storage & backup solutions.
- Sound understanding of networking, firewalls, storage, backup/restore strategies, DR and BCP frameworks.
- Strong understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes; hands-on experience with JIRA and/or ServiceNow.
- Exposure to security standards and governance across infrastructure layers.
- Familiarity with SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) principles, CI/CD, and DevOps practices: Monitoring, observability, automation, reliability engineering.
- Experience working in Scrum and Agile environments with cross-functional engineering teams and stakeholders.
- Disaster Recovery & BCP: DR planning, recovery time objectives (RTO), recovery point objectives (RPO).
- Networking & Security: TCP/IP, firewalls, VPN, security frameworks, vulnerability management.
- Knowledge of JIRA and ServiceNow.
- Proven ability to manage critical incident response and operational crises.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong written/verbal communication and documentation skills; adept at stakeholder engagement at all levels.
- Strong financial acumen related to budgeting, forecasting, and optimizing infrastructure/cloud spend, cost optimization.
- In addition to cloud and infrastructure depth, they must possess a strong understanding of networking, backup, disaster recovery (DR), business continuity planning (BCP), security best practices.
- Experience managing large-scale hybrid migrations and infrastructure transformation programs.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Internal collaboration and third-party oversight.
- Crisis Management: High-severity incident resolution and RCA.
- Ability to work in an international environment.
