Role Overview: Cloud Architecture Specialist - Google Cloud

IPNET by Vivo is seeking a Cloud Architecture Specialist with a focus on Google Cloud to join our Delivery Team, specifically within Tech Sales. You will be a key technical reference for multi-cloud infrastructure and architecture, primarily on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

Responsibilities:

• Act as a technical reference for multi-cloud infrastructure and architecture, focusing on GCP and OCI.
• Support sales and technical teams in client meetings, architecture presentations, and Proofs of Concept (POCs).
• Design highly available, secure, networked, and automated architectures for hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Plan on-premise workload migrations to GCP and OCI, ensuring performance, resilience, and governance.
• Collaborate with engineering, FinOps, and strategic partners on technical proposals and cost estimations.
• Guide the team on infrastructure standards, automation, and governance.
• Conduct environment assessments, architecture reviews, and provide best practice recommendations for cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Solid knowledge of on-premise infrastructure, from networks to system architecture.
• Technical expertise in Google Cloud (Compute Engine, Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Storage, VPC, Load Balancer, IAM, Cloud Functions, Deployment Manager, etc.).
• Practical experience with Oracle Cloud (Compute, Autonomous Linux, OCI Networking, Load Balancer, Object Storage, OKE, IAM, Resource Manager/Terraform, etc.).
• Experience in network design, VPNs, load balancing, security, automation (IaC), scalability, and observability.
• Proficiency with tools like Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools (Cloud Monitoring, Logging, Oracle Observability).
• Ability to define technical architecture standards, zoning, high availability, disaster recovery, and multi-cloud governance.
