Business Development Manager Pharma
To strengthen our Pharma business unit, we are looking for you at our Hamburg (or Witten) location as soon as possible as a Business Development Manager (m/f/d) Pharma.
What you will do:
- Actively drive the growth of our business unit through a skillful combination of scientific expertise, market knowledge, and commercial strategy.
- Further develop our portfolio for excipients and APIs globally and strengthen our market position in regulated industries.
- Actively manage customer projects for technically and regulatorily demanding applications.
- Identify new market opportunities and actively support the development of new applications and their path to market.
- Keep a close eye on the global market and therapeutic trends and analyze competitor activities.
- As a subject matter expert, provide technical and commercial support to sales and our distributors.
- In close coordination with Marketing, create compelling presentations, brochures, and guides for sales.
- Contribute your expertise directly on-site for customer projects, audits, and technical evaluations.
- Represent our company worldwide at international conferences and trade fairs.
What we are looking for:
- A degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Chemical Engineering.
- At least 3-5 years of professional experience in pharmaceutical production, business development, or technical marketing.
- In-depth knowledge of excipient functionalities, material sciences, and formulation and QC/QA processes.
- The ability to interpret analytical data and confidently understand regulatory documentation.
- Strong commercial thinking to translate complex technical topics into clear customer benefits.
- Fluent German and English language skills for working in an international environment.
- Willingness to travel to our locations and occasional international travel.
